Get proper emails from Council- Clondalkin / Lucan Area Committee Meeting 1 (bi-monthly). Usually the second-last Tuesday in every month. Dealing with Parks, Roads, Planning (Applications) and Development
- Clondalkin / Lucan Area Committee Meeting 2 (bi-monthly). Usually the last Tuesday in every month. Dealing with Corporate Services, Housing, Community and Environment
- Full Council Meeting (monthly)
- Traffic Management Meeting (monthly)
- Organsation, Procedure and Finance (quarterly)
- Residents Requireed Meetings (quarterly)
- Annual General Meeting. Elects (Deputy) Mayor, Chair of Clondalkin / Lucan Area Committee as well as the Strategic Policy Committees
- South West Community Safety Forum Meeting (monthly)
- North Clondalkin Safety Forum Meeting (monthly)
All meetings are held in public, save for Traffic Management, Organisation, Procedure and Finance and Residents which are not open to the public. Residents can however make submissions to Traffic Management Meetings.
All meetings usually held in the County Chambers in Tallaght. Clondalkin / Lucan meetings usually held in the Clondalkin Civic Centre, opposite Dunnes Stores, the Mill Centre. Clondalkin / Lucan Meeting allows max. 4 motions. Max 2 per department. Motions get debated. Questions only get a reply.
The Clondalkin / Lucan area committee meetings take place from 3.30pm to 5.30pm. Each meeting deals with 4 departments, leaving 30 minutes per department. There are 11 Councillors in Clondalkin (6) & Lucan (5), leaving under 3 minutes for each Councillor to speak on specific issues!
